Where did you get an education?

I got told today that I was a liar because I had said I never left my country till I came to this place. The guy called me a liar because he had been told that I had a uniservity degree.

He said I was lying that I never left my country before then because I had to have gone outside Africa to get the education I have. I had to laugh at such remark. I proceeded to tell him that there are a few primary schools dotted around my country and it was one of such which I attended.

It would probably have sat well with him if there was nobody there to inform him otherwise.

So Africa is so desperate that we dont even have enough brains for a university???

Hey loads of misconceptions live!

I have been asked questions like-DO we have AC in india? Do i know what coke,mountain dew and pepsi is?

Do we travel to work n bullockcarts?

Just to name a few!! I have been told I speak so well than I cant possibly be and Indian

Fi you are joking right?! dont you just get pissed off? you'd think people watch enough TV to know that most of the world has McDonalds:)).

Egyptians taught the world a lot...and egypt is in africa so why would Blackie be told he cant be educated in africa. that's sooo ignorant

I am not kidding PB and i initially then it was amusing!!
I would laugh if someone asked me if i know what a merc is.. Most of these were americans:))

because i speak with a slight irish accent
(irish nuns in school) I have been asked if I am Irish or british or even as far fetched as Australian:))

Oh well some may watch TV but may miss the discovery travel & living channel which shows modern india in depth

Yes Egypt is the oldest civilization and culturally very very rich
